FREEZING the Missing Link
Q. - Can I freeze part of The Missing Link supplement to make it last longer after it is opened?
A. - If you ever decide to freeze our product, we suggest that you freeze it for only a couple of weeks.
Prolonged freezing of any food product denatures the nutritional components.
To receive the maximum benefits from our products we recommend the following:
- Refrigeration after opening and use within 90 days, as stated on our label.
- Our gold foil pouches have been specially designed to protect our products and ensure their freshness. The ideal storage condition is refrigeration of the product while it is still in the gold foil pouch. We suggest to customers that they keep the product in the pouch and put the whole pouch in an additional zip lock bag or tupperware.
- Buy the product size appropriate to your pet's needs.
For example:
A one pound bag contains 56 tablespoons of product. The serving size for an average sized dog is one Tablespoon (three teaspoons) or 8 grams. Therefore, if you use the product on a daily basis for your "average" sized dog, you will use up the entire one pound bag in less than 90 days (3 months) and you don't have to worry about freezing the product.
