As an owner of a horse (four-year-old half Andulsian) that has been diagnosed with moon blindness, I have always been looking for alternative treatments for his condition.
Moon Blindness is one of the mystery diseases, and equine medicine is only beginning to understand the causes and potential remedies for this disease. The key goal of any horse that is diagnosed with this disease is to limit the number of episodes the horse has (eyes get inflamed and close shut).
One theory states that a diet rich in Omega 3 fatty acids could help slow down the episodes. Starting Ancient Wisdom on The Missing Link has so far eliminated his episodes. Typically, he has an episode once every few months. For the past six months since he has been on The Missing Link, he has not had one episode.
With Ancient Wisdom’s natural dressage ability and his future in the show circuit, I cannot say how thankful I am that I have him on The Missing Link. Thank you for developing such a wonderful product.
